If you want a picture of yourself, next to a celebrity or as an astronaut, an image editor will make this possible. If you try a professional software for such a simple task, you might get caught in its complex options and your results may not look so good. KJ Clipper comes with the same tools for editing an image, but they are better organized and easier to use.

The software can be used free of charge for 21 days, without any limitations. Unlike heavyweight image processors, KJ Clipper can be downloaded and it will not take long to do this. The setup kit is roughly 13 Mb large and you can install the program in less than a minute, without making any additional settings to your system.

When launched, most image editors will overwhelm you with a large number of buttons, placed all around the interface. This is not the case with KJ Clipper. The options on the toolbar are not many and it is easy to figure out what they can be used for. Most of them can be found in the top menus as well. Overall, there will not be too much clicking involved.

You can load one or more images on the interface, set a different zoom level and move them around on the same window. With the options on the toolbar, you can select to copy something on a picture, add text, set a partial or normal transparency level, adjust colors, hue, saturation, contrast and more. Some of the tools require clicking and dragging over the image or simply hovering over it with the mouse cursor. For example, using the edge select tool, you have to click once, to start selecting, and hover around the edges of an object. The tool will detect edges automatically, like a magic lasso and you can set anchors by clicking once. Other tools will bring up a new window, where you can make adjustments with the aid of sliders.

It is possible to add filters and effects as well. They will be applied immediately, after clicking their designated options in the Filters menu. Options for applying effects like smoothing, sharpening, noise reduction and others can be found on the toolbar. When a tool is selected, you can make adjustments by clicking a settings button, on the toolbar, and use the options which will appear on a separate window.

Pros

KJ Clipper features the same tools you would find in advanced image editors, but they are easier to use, due to the interface's simplicity. It comes in a small package and it can be installed fast, so you will be able to start editing images right away.

Cons

It is not possible to insert multiple images at once by clicking and dragging them to the interface. You do not have to spend hours trying to learn a complex image processing program. You will get used to KJ Clipper's interface in a few minutes and you will be able to edit your images however you want.
